Hi there, I'll try keep this short and to the point: Full name: Daniel Duncan Contact email address: daniel@freedomofideas.com Job applying for: Editor in Chief Relevant experience: While I'm not American (there's no indication you must be on the web-page, nor if there was any age or location preference, only that you must have a grasp of American English), I have an A in GCSE English Language, and an A in English Literature, too. 4 years of experience in Ubuntu (mostly, either that or mingling in other GNU/Linux distributions for a week each). A sample of my writing can be found here. Ages aside (for I am only 17), I believe I should be considered because I'm a quick learner, I'm slightly obsessed with FLOSS, easy going and I love English (I'm currently doing English Literature for an A level). While I don't use American English, I see no reason why I could not pick it up within a week. Besides, what's Google for? I have helped several people who really struggle with new things (i.e. the idea that a different operating system can't natively run programs designed for another system.), and a Wordpress blog for people who need help with Ubuntu. It can be found here (it's the same link as the previous link). I would engage the community by using polls for key information in relation to Ubuntu, IRC chat, various forms of Internet messaging to find out the key things people need help with, and also the parts of Ubuntu that some people struggle with. Thanks for your time, Daniel
